The Brief
The Nigeria National Alumni Association came to us to host INSEAD Day 2026. The school's global alumni celebration, marked locally as an evening of ideas, conversation and connection for Lagos's INSEAD community. Held at BLUEROCK Residences on Victoria Island, the brief was a single evening substantive enough for a room of strategists, bankers and operators, without losing the warmth of an alumni reunion.

The Challenge Alumni celebrations tend to fall one of two ways. a purely social mixer that wastes a room full of genuinely interesting people, or a conference agenda that forgets it's also meant to be a celebration. Our task was to give the programme real intellectual weight — an AI keynote, a live panel on one of Nigeria's largest industrial investments — while still handing the back half of the night to toast and connection among old classmates.

Our Approach
We structured the evening as ideas first, celebration second: cocktails to open the room, a tightly paced run of substantive content through the middle, then a clean handoff into toast, cake cutting and networking to close. Nothing about the format asked guests to choose between a serious evening and an enjoyable one.
